Hi, I’m Courtney Dalton, owner of IronGate Property Management.

I started IronGate because I believe homeowners deserve more than just a property manager — they deserve someone they can trust, rely on, and feel confident having in their corner.

With 10 years of experience in property management, I’ve built my career around understanding the many moving pieces that come with caring for a property. Along the way, I’ve earned multiple certifications and developed experience in brokerage, Fair Housing, compliance, and finance. But while experience and education are important, I believe the foundation of great property management is much simpler: communication, integrity, and genuinely caring about the people you work with.

The name IronGate represents what I want my company to stand for — something strong, dependable, and protective. When you trust someone with your property, you should feel confident knowing that it is being cared for as if it were my own.

Outside of IronGate, I’m a wife and a mom of four. My husband, Brandon, is a successful financial advisor with Edward Jones. He has a passion for helping families make wise financial decisions, prepare for retirement, and build a strong financial future for themselves and their children. His background and our shared desire to help families create stability and opportunity have been a meaningful part of our family’s journey.

Our family spent many years living in Colorado before making the move to Dubuque. We wanted to give our kids something different — a family environment where community matters, where they can get involved in a community, and where they can slow down and enjoy the people and places around them.

We’ve absolutely fallen in love with Dubuque. From the incredible community to the river and beautiful scenery, there is something special about living here. We love getting our family involved, exploring the area, traveling, and trying new things together. Family is incredibly important to us, and our Christian faith is a big part of the values we live by.

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family or getting lost in a good book. Reading has always been a big part of my life, and I love that it gives me a chance to slow down and recharge.

At the end of the day, I don’t want IronGate to feel like just another property management company. I want it to feel personal.

I want my clients to know there is a real person behind the company — someone who listens, communicates, cares, and takes the responsibility of managing your property seriously.
